1. How does storing my car work?
You choose which storage plan works best for you – annual, 6 month, or month to month option. We secure your car and hook it up to battery tender while not in use. Then just schedule a day/time to pick up by calling us to make a reservation. We take care of the B.S. so you can enjoy the ride!
2. Is my car insured while it is in storage?
You must maintain insurance on your own car, and customers will need to provide Car Locker® with a certificate of insurance naming us as a certificate holder. Car Locker® will hold our own insurance for the facility.
3. How can I access my car while it is in storage?
For security reasons, we ask that customers make an appointment to remove or return their car to the facility. We know the enjoyment cars can bring and want to make sure you can access it when needed. Simply, call us to set up a time for you to come and pick up or return your car and we will ensure that it is ready to go for you!
4. What is the availability of services if my car needs a jump start, air in the tires, or any mechanical work?
We will check your car’s tires and start it up monthly. We may be able to help you jump your car depending on where the battery is located.
5. What if my car needs any repairs or mechanical work done?
We can assist in coordinating appointments with our vendor partners to quote any work you may need done.
6. What is the cost of storage?
$450 a month for a year-long commitment for secure storage in our climate-controlled $3M facility complete with reinforced walls and roof located 42’ above sea level. Our staff is on site to make sure your ride stays safe and secure, and when we’re not, our security system is. Check out our price page for more details.
7. Do you provide any transportation or “drop off” services to/from my location while my car is in storage?
We do not provide this service at this time.
8. For classic and antique vehicle storage, does my car have to be in good running condition?
Yes, we require all cars to be able to start and run on their own. It’s important that all cars are operational so they can be moved and ready for owners when they are ready to pick them up.
9. Do I have to sign a lease for long-term car storage?
Yes, you will sign a storage agreement providing us with a copy of your driver’s license, proof or registration and vehicle insurance. Our team will go over all of the necessary paperwork and answer any questions or concerns you have about storage.
10. Will you detail my car before I arrive?
Absolutely! Detailing is available upon request for both your stored car and even your daily driver if you so choose. We are proud of our detailing area in our facility and have a great team who will take care of your car. When you arrive to pick up your car, it will be glistening inside and out. Making it easy to for you to enjoy a gorgeous day or night out.
